As we reflect on our journey, 2025 stands out as a significant year for KY Sub-Assembly. We achieved remarkable milestones including expanding our capabilities, earned national recognition, and positioning us stronger to serve our clients.
Expanding to Serve You Better
In March 2025, we relocated from Skytech to Bulim Square, a key development within the Jurong Innovation District (JID) that provides high-specification industrial space tailored to advanced manufacturing and innovation. It houses the full suite of operational and HQ functions in one location, from R&D and prototyping to production and distribution. This places KY Sub-Assembly in an ecosystem where we have access to a value chain from suppliers to research, providing us the physical proximity to research institutes, capabilities developers, technology and training providers across the five JID precincts. The relocation allows us to keep up with industry trends and continually enhance our services to provide better services for our clients.
More than just the change of address, we expanded our factory size by almost three times from 355 square meters to 929 square meters, creating the space and infrastructure to serve our growing client base more effectively. As part of this expansion, we made substantial investments in our advanced manufacturing capabilities. Seven new Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines were added to our existing 6 machines, making a total of 13 machines and effectively doubling our machining capacity. The addition included two Okuma LB3000 EX IIIC500-e and five Matsuura R Plus-550 machines. These machines enhance our precision engineering capabilities and production efficiency, allowing us to handle projects with more complex geometries and tighter tolerances.
Besides enhanced machining capabilities, another significant addition to our facility is our dedicated assembly and testing area. With this expansion, we are able to offer new services such as electromechanical assembly and system-level product testing. With these additions, KY Sub-Assembly is now able to offer a one-stop solution from fabrication to assembly, and testing. This integrated approach ensures better quality control, and faster lead time for our clients’ projects.

In September 2025, KY Sub-Assembly was honoured to receive the SME 500 Award, one of Singapore’s highly regarded business awards that recognises leading Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across different industries and trade sectors. This award reflects not just our well performance and effort, but also the trust placed in us to be one of Singapore’s leading SME that is capable of meeting the standards required from our clients. Receiving this award definitely affirmed our business position in the precision engineering industry, and it is a significant milestone in our entrepreneur journey.
